The Last Adam

THE PURPOSE OF THE FIRST ADAM WAS RESTORED WITH THE COMING OF THE LAST ADAM

1 Corinthians 15:45, And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.

Man was created to serve both God and mankind. In view occasions, the disciples was worried about the perishable material things like food, clothing, accommodation. Rather spend a time and invest the resources into eternal life.

So, ‘then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”John 6:28-29

The first man, Adam was created in the Garden of Eden with divine purpose in his life.

Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being. Genesis 2:7

The Hebrew word for Eden ( עֵדֶן ),means ‘ the place of pleasure, delight, delicate’. Man was set apart since God breathed into his nostrils the spirit of life. He has a sanctified character and awareness that he was created by his Creator after his image and likeness to represent Him throughout the universe. Man was created to see, hear, and have fellowship with his Creator. Consistent communication and intimacy were his daily bread. The first Adam was called to be a minister unto Most High and to dwell in His holy presence.

My sons, do not now be negligent, for the Lord has chosen you to stand in His presence, to serve Him, to be His ministers, and to burn incense to Him. 2 Chronicles 29:11

Hebrews 1:7 (NKJV)

7 And of the angels He says:

“Who makes His angels spirits

And His ministers a flame of fire.”

God wanted someone to pour Himself into when He created man: “ Let us make man in our image, after our likeness …” Genesis 1:26. When He created man, man became a living soul filled with God’s perfection and righteousness. God’s own creative life and power was breathed into man.

Man was not created to be in conflict with God or His creations, but to live in union and harmony upon the earth. Therefore, God opened Himself to complete fellowship with man so that man could truly rule and reign with God as His earthly representative. Man was filled with God’s authority, His dominion and His love to be a minister from the day of man’s creation for all eternity. man’s intended role was as high priest …Minister of God…from his beginning.

With an act of his will man broke his fellowship with God as he fell into Satan’s trap of death and destruction ( Gen.3). Therefore sin man knowingly rebelled against God and His plan of perfection. God devised a new plan: “ For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one , much more they which receive abundance of Grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ ..for as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteousness” Romans 5:17-18

GOD IS A GOD OF PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVITY. By sin Adam brought death into the world, but by the death and resurrection of the last ADAM, Jesus Christ, man was restored to everlasting fellowship and communion with God. By way of the blood of Jesus man could reclaim God’s original plan, including the gift of eternal life.

Through Jesus Christ we are made in the image of God..perfected and empowered to be His ministers and high priests. Therefore Jesus Christ we receive the same authority and anointing that was breathed into Adam, enabling us to stand against Satan and all of his demon forces. We have the power and dominion of the first Adam to defend God’s Kingdom against all of Satan’s temptations..all of his attacks. As children of the most high God, we must rightfully take our places as His sons and daughters, using God’s delegated authority to become the proof – producing ministers God created man to be.
