Jesus Christ is working as the Chief Apostle and Great High Priest to purify His holy community into a house of prayer for all nations. This generation is witnessing His revolutionary holy worshippers rising up to overcome the world through Jesus Christ who is seated at the right hand of God and making intercession for the saints to overcome the world with a powerful prayer and an end-times harvest of souls movement and center for signs and wonders to all nations.
“Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made
with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.” (Hebrews 9:11–12)
The Bible gives three main references to the tabernacle of David: Isaiah 16:5, Amos 9:11, and Acts 15:16-17 in which the apostle James repeats the prophet Amos’s prophecy over 200 years after David death, saying “After this I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down;
I will rebuild its ruins, and I will set it up; v.17 So that the rest of mankind may seek the LORD, even all the Gentiles who are called by My name,
Says the LORD who does all these things.’
The purpose and objectives of the TOD
The primary reason for restoring the Tabernacle of David is that Beloved King Jesus has made us kings and priests to His Heavenly Father, with unlimited love and power. Rev.1:5-6. The purpose of the king is to rule and reign with Christ, the Anointed Messiah, who occupied the regions with the advance of the Kingdom of God. And as the priest to have unveiled intimacy and worship.
The Hebrew word translated “tabernacle” is Ohel, which means a tent, covering, dwelling place, home, tent.” The word Mishkan is another meaning for dwelling place of God amongst His people of Israel.
The Call for TOD
Around the world is a call to “raise the Tabernacle of David”. This has been gathering momentum in prayer, praise, worship and proclamation of Scripture for several decades. It is a sound that is growing stronger and louder bringing the generations together. Jewish/Gentile people as One New Man in Christ coming into the revelation of being a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy Kingdom nation. It is all as the Heavenly Father has spoken through His holy apostles and prophets. In 1 Peter 2:7-10, He spoke through apostle Peter saying, “Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone,” v.8. and “A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense.” They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed. v.9.But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light; v.10.who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
Therefore through this passage, we can clearly see that the purpose of raising David’s Tabernacle is evangelism by bringing the multitudes of souls, Jews and Gentiles into the Kingdom of God. Also release the rivers of life and mighty power of the Holy Spirit into the nations of the Earth that brings salvation and healing wherever they flow.
