For a more biblical perspective, the church is not a place or a building where people go to worship. The Early Church’s evidence shows that buildings were insignificant in their life and function for more than three centuries. Churches do not belong to a ‘holy’ temple or shrine that has objects of worship. Such places should never be referred to as a Church. God is seeking those who will worship Him in both spirit and truth. Worshipping any building, image, or person takes us away from true worship and is prohibited by God. When they appear, magnificent angels may not be worshipped. Worshipping God is the sole thing we should do.

“When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am? So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it “Matthew 16:13-18.

Peter declared in a revelation that Jesus was the Son of God, the Son of the Living God. Jesus replied that His church would be built and that the Gates of Hell would not be able to stop it. Working with Jesus to build His Church in His way is crucial in these days of heightened spiritual activity on Earth, both godly and ungodly. Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, and his followers or disciples must be guided by his revelation. Not only the One who was and is, but also the One who is yet to come. The Church is the place where Jesus Christ is revealed as the Head of the Church.

The Permanent Dwelling Place of God

Jesus stated that the true Father’s house was a ‘building’ that consisted of a community of God’s people who gathered together with specific qualities like:

1. Their whole lives have been filled with joy as they have surrendered to His leadership and rule.

2. They have made a covenant with Him and promised to obey Him in all things.

3. Their love for Him is shared and they live their lives by worshiping and obeying Him.

4. Their love and commitment to one another is based on their first love for Him.

5. Their commitment is to a life of both personal prayer and corporate prayer for all nations

Despite knowing that He will meet all their legitimate needs, it is not their primary focus.

6. Their desire is to serve Him, see Him glorified, and see His Kingdom come to earth.

7. Their primary purpose is to give rather than to obtain.

8. They are a people who are dedicated to going to war with Him and His angels to forcefully advance His Kingdom and destroy the kingdom of darkness.

9. They have acquired the ability to control the power of the devil and his angels and are capable of reversing all his deeds.

10. Their passion is to serve Him and they are prepared to work hard to establish His Kingdom over all the Earth.

This is the building that He loves to dwell in. There is clarity about the church as we look through the beginnings of the Early Church in the book of Acts of the Apostles. The Early Church contains the blueprint of the spiritual structure of the Church until Jesus Christ returns. The functioning of the gifts of the Spirit is the directing force of this great story. The Church was born with 16th nations and the Jewish disciples spoke like natives without a Galilean accent.

Acts 2:9-12, Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, Whatever could this mean?”

The Church was born on the day of Shavuot, Pentecost, from a community of people from 16 nations. It was used in a secular manner in the Bible and other writings to describe the gathering of people for a particular purpose.

While the nation of Israel was wandering in the wilderness, they were called ‘The Church in the Wilderness’ (Acts 7:37-38). In John 2:19, Jesus stated that he would destroy this temple and rebuild it in three days.

He mentioned the Church as the Temple of His Body. Through His Cross death and Resurrection, He would be raised up in the power of His Risen Life. This multi-racial Church is now God’s Nation of Jews and Gentiles “ One New Man”.

“ But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy”. 1 Peter 2:9-10

God’s Family is composed of all nations. It is the New Israel or one new man, ‘Jew and Gentiles’.

It is God’s Household of which we have now become members.

It is a one-body composed of many members joined to each other, and each one individually joined to Jesus the Head.We all need each other because each member has their own unique function.

The Holy Temple is described as being made up of people from all nations. Built as living stones on the one foundation of Apostles and Prophets, with Jesus as the Chief Corner Stone and the ultimate foundation of everything. This is only applicable to the entire body of Christ “ having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. Ephesians 20:20-22.

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers” Ephesians 4:11.

The vision of marriage as a covenant of the One Kingdom Family

We traveled with the Kingdom family to Doi Inthanon Mountain, Thailand on January 26-27th, 2019 for the Kingdom Family Prayer Summit. The following morning, I went for a prayer walk in the woods and while I was walking, I found a spot to sit down. As I pray in the spirit language and meditate on God’s word, I behold an open vision.

“I was found looking under the water, the water was very clean and clear, fresh and at that moment I was reminded of the Holy Spirit as the water of life. “And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb”. Revelation 22:1. Big five wonderful looking fish begin to appear before my eyes one by one. The fish were both healthy and beautiful, with a rainbow color on their bodies. The five of them were connected in perfect oneness. A large number of small fishes are swimming underneath in submission to those five big fishes. It was a picture of perfect unity among God’s creation.

Soon after sister Olga from the Philippines shared with us her prophetic word that she received during our prayer time.

She said, ‘God has the big picture.’ God allows and enables us to see and be part of it. A marriage is taking place. This is not the wedding of the Lamb. It is a marriage covenant of pioneers/apostoles, seers/prophets, pastors/shepherds, teachers, and evangelists. For an extended period of time, they have kept each other at arm’s length. It was thought by the Lord a while back. God’s agenda is advancing even greater as the world’s agenda moves. The weight of glory he is bringing can only be held by a whole and healthy bride. God requires and needs them to be one. Make sure to cover all four corners (North, East, West, South) and anoint its pillars. Pray for the leaders of the church.

On June 20th. 2023, Yahweh spoken with the voice of authority

“I WANT THE ALTER, BUILD FROM THE LIVING STONES ( 1 Peter 2:5), A LIVING SACRIFICE’S ( Romans 12:1-2). GATHER AND PLACE YOURSELF AT THE ALTER IN BANGKOK.

TOTAL SURRENDER OF YOUR WILL INTO MY WILL!!!

WHERE IS ALL DONE ACCORDING TO MY WORD THE FIRE WILL FALL AND CONSUMED ( dross, chaff with worthless, rubbish in the soul, including all the addictions and bandages..etc) THR SACRIFICE AT THE ALTER. THE CALLINGS WILL BE GIVEN, THE GIFTS ACTIVATED, LIFES WILL BE HEALD AND RESTORED. TRANSFORMATION WILL TAKE PLACE”.

The 120 apostles understood this and laid themselves at the alter as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God. They besieged the throne of grace in a spirit of complete consecration to their work.

Apostle Peter describes Jesus as the great “Living Stone” and the saints as individual living stones like Him, built up into one spiritual house, one holy priesthood of all believers to offer up spiritual sacrifices. Again, not a local congregation.

“Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious. Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 2:1–5

Jesus creates through the interaction of people. He constructs a Tabernacle in the Heavenliest that represents the Reality and not the Shadow. The true House of God is made of living stones that have the same character and nature as Jesus Himself, who is the Chief Cornerstone. If we hold fast to our confidence and rejoice firm until the end, we are the House.

Matt. 16:18 – “I will build My Church (of living stones like Peter who have received a revelation of who “I AM”) and the Gates of Hell will not prevail against it”.

Living Sacrifice

“And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings. A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out.” Leviticus 6:12-13

The word translated ‘burnt’ is ‘olah,’ which means to go up, referring to the smoke and sweet savor. When the fire of the Lord goes out, many people become cold towards God and His Kingdom purposes. The only solution is to turn by going through repentance.

Pray right now : “God I am repenting and confessing my sin of letting the Holy Fire leave my life in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. ”

John was a ‘burning and shining lamp’, and this prophetic picture represents a believer in Christ who is burning for the Lord and His Kingdom. Therefore, as “living sacrifices” we are daily responsible to repent and burn up everything that is not of God like selfishness, self ambition, self seeking, sin, pride, programs, our ministries, our goals, agendas, our time, denominational walls, compromises, prejudices etc.

The Church that Jesus Christ constructs are communities of believers that spring up across a whole nation or region. These communities of Christians, “Christ-like followers”, spreading out over the Jewish and Gentile world, were visited by Paul and other apostles. All the churches in Judea, Galatia, Galilee, Syria, Macedonia, and Asia are mentioned in the text. I local records. They clearly had close relationships and were in contact with each other. In Biblical passages, we can see that the Gentile and Jewish churches spread among several nations and cities. They were clearly in contact and in good communication with each other and many of the same Apostles moved amongst them all.

Since the persecution was very severe by the Roman authorities, the believers moved from public large places like temples to house settings. There was no mention of multiple isolated churches in the same city. The Early Church practiced a community of God’s people coming together on a regular basis, probably weekly, on the first day of the week (Sunday).

“ Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul, ready to depart the next day, spoke to them and continued his message until midnight” Acts 20:7

The church meeting’s pattern

Due to the great persecution that occurred under Nero and Domitian’s rule, the church was unable to hold large open meetings. The believers gather in smaller groups from house to house. They “continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart” Acts 2:46

Apostle Paul said “ how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house” Acts 20:20
