To paraphrase: the Apostle Paul prophetically typifies Elijah. Just as Elijah confronted the principalities and powers of false gods—specifically the 450 false prophets of Baal—Paul operated with a similar apostolic spiritual power in Ephesians. Elijah stood alone against King Ahab, false priests of Queen Jezebel, and an entire nation enslaved to evil spirits. God, having trained Elijah in the wilderness, sent him to Mount Carmel to confront and conquer those powers. Following the slaughter of the false prophets, the people acknowledged the Lord as God, and the seven-year drought—a consequence of idol worship as foretold in Deuteronomy—ended with the return of rain. The people cry out ‘Jehovah is God, Jehovah is God’ which is Hebrew language means “ Yahweh is Elohim”.

Similarly, the Apostle Paul demonstrated this same authority in Ephesus when he challenged the principality of Diana. As recorded in Acts 19, this confrontation led to a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit and conviction of sin’s. People renounced witchcraft, burned their idols and occult books, and turned to God, resulting in an estimated 300,000 conversions. Apostle Paul subsequently established the church in Ephesus, which is also mentioned in the Book of Revelation. Just as God sent Elijah into the stronghold of Jezreel where his presence was most needed, He empowered Paul to carry His apostolic authority and power into the heart of spiritual opposition.

Navigating Spiritual Vulnerability After Victorious Moments: The Power of Grace and Submission

Drawing from over two decades of full-time ministry across Southern Asia, India, Europe, Israel, the Middle East. I have learned that most vulnerable trail following powerful meetings marked by supernatural salvation, healings, miracles, and deliverances. During these times, we must guard our minds, emotions, speech, and the places we frequent. God’s grace, however, is sufficient to sustain us. As the Apostle Paul noted in 2 Corinthians 12:9, God’s grace is made perfect in our weakness. After a victory, we must wholeheartedly submit to God, remain watchful, and pray and submitting to Almighty God. We must also consistently rely on His covenant blood and heavenly intercession prayer to maintain our peace and keep our focus fixed on Him alone. He is faithful to His promises; for those who keep their minds stayed on Him, He provides perfect peace.

Isaiah 26:3-4, You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You.
Trust in the LORD forever,
For in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength.

Conquering the enemy’s of self pity

Prophet Elijah had great victory in the Mount Carmel and the name of Most High was lifted up by the people of Israel. The power of the Almighty was upon him and the nation was at the door step of a mighty revival. Yet Elijah fled after received threatening message from Jezebel to kill him. The Bible tell us that he saw those words in other words he “saw” the evil principality and the power operate behind Jezebel ( 1 Kings 19:3). And it makes him afraid until he had given up and wanted to die. Despise the anxious and burden upon the Elijah soul God hasn’t finish with his prophet. God was nearer to His prophet and was swelling to delivered him from his self pity.
