Moses appointed a team of twelve men from each tribe for the mission to spy on the land that God promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. They were promised by God to possess this land “flowing with milk and honey”. Their apostolic mission lasted for forty days, and they returned with physical proof of a huge cluster of grapes. Yet ten of the twelve men were discouraging people because of their unbelieving and fearful hearts. It was the same Almighty God, the Great I AM, who was with them and delivered them from the Egyptian army. It was He who sustained them with manna, an angel food, gave them water from the rock, opened the Red Sea, led them by the pillar of fire at night and cloud by day, grew supernatural sandals on their children’s feet, and their clothing did not wear out. Then they failed and wandered without purpose in the wilderness for another 40 years. They didn’t submit themselves to the Spirit of God and lacked faith in God’s promises. Looks like today, when many so-called believers, ‘Christians’, who entered into the blood covenant, having their sins washed in ‘the Lamb’s blood’, were baptised in water, called as God’s children yet not having faith in God’s promises to take possession of their inheritance due to fear and unbelief. Only two men, Joshua and Caleb, had God’s Spirit within them, the believing hearts, and 40 years later possessed their inheritance.
Today, the Almighty is giving the last call to repentance by turning to Him with all their hearts and minds. In Christ, ‘The Anointed One’ takes possession of our inheritance, and we shall take it by the supernatural force of the Holy Spirit.
For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. 2 Corinthians 1:20
