Adamic natural versus Last Adam, spiritual freedom

Romans chapter 7. Paul teaches about the truth, both in marriage, applying the law, and God’s commandment. And he picture, as an example, he took marriage between the wife and the husband. And then he expanded to the different areas of obeying the law. Versing the natural versus the spiritual. Man live in two worlds, a natural world and a spiritual world. Simultaneously, while things are happened in the natural world, things are also happened in the spiritual world.

Since all truth is parallel, this applies to man’s warfare between the flesh and the spirit. The desire to give God the glory and be free from sin and rebellion, while experiencing the temptation to please the flesh and succumb to doing the very things that are carnal and grieve the Spirit of God. In the natural world, your thoughts, your attitudes, imaginations, ambitions, ideas, circumstances, emotions, speech, hearing, and vision are all influenced, governed, or controlled by the natural man. The spiritual world is in the area where the person is living in the realm of miracles, a freedom from the bondage of sin and death. In the spiritual world, your thoughts, imagination, attitudes, and any perception, ideas, circumstances, emotions, speech, hearing, and visions are all influenced, governed, or controlled by the Holy Spirit and faith that is based on the infallible, impregnable word of God. Paul is saying that the natural man is the part of us that is ruled by our senses, dominated by our old habits, by the fallen nation of the man of sin, Adam. That is why the person must be born again for him to be baptised in the Holy Spirit and have the power to withstand the fleshly man and overcome the fleshly man by living in the spirit that pleases God. The spiritual man is the part of us that is redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ, serving by His grace and free from the law of sin and death. This is the part of us that has to yield to the work and control of the Holy Spirit within our lives. Apostle Paul ended this chapter in Romans 7:24-25, saying O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25 I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

The answer is that this warfare within is found in “Who” Jesus Christ alone. The Immerser or Baptizer in the Holy Spirit’s fire. With established His Lordship over every area of our lives. Everyone and everything comes under His authority.

So what shall we do?

Declare Jesus’s lordship, submit the person and the issue to Him, invite His rule and presence and strengthen you through the power of the Holy Spirit to do His will. Then you can expiernce and live under His true freedom.
